We’re ready to work with you to ensure a successful event — one for the history books. Black Lab Brewing is happy to be inclusive of all, whether you are a seasoned beer aficionado or a first time craft beer drinker. You’ll always be greeted with a warm smile and helpful staff.
*The brewery is not available for private parties during weekend days. Saturday and Sundays are available starting at 8pm until late*

Our taproom has been thoughtfully designed as a comfortable meeting space for the community to gather, indulge in award-winning beer, and embrace our dog-friendly environment, ensuring everyone feels welcome. Our taproom and beer garden have been designed with events in mind:

What We Offer:
At our award-winning dog friendly brewery, any event is possible. Whether it is something as casual as a corporate outing to an all out wedding, we’ve done it all.
Venue:
Situated in the east end of Toronto, you can find us at the corner of Leslie St and Eastern Ave in the heart of Leslieville. You’ll feel instantly comfortable in our Tap Room with custom-made reclaimed wood tables and the embrace of our open floor brewery. Our Beer Garden at the back of our Tap Room is the ultimate summer spot! Sit back and relax at a picnic table or cozy Muskoka chair with a crisp beer in hand.

TAPROOM AMBIENCE Step into our taproom and experience the inviting atmosphere that we've meticulously crafted. Whether you're joining us for a casual hangout with friends, celebrating a special occasion, or simply looking for a place to unwind after a long day, our taproom provides the perfect setting. Featuring gender neutral washrooms and a wheelchair accessible taproom.
AWARD-WINNING BEEER Indulge your taste buds with our selection of meticulously crafted, award-winning beers. From crisp lagers to bold IPAs and everything in between, there's something for every beer enthusiast to enjoy!
DOG FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT Black Lab Brewing was built on the idea of having dogs come along on your journeys outside of the house, and not only to the vet or pet store. Bring the dogs along and give them a new favourite spot to hang out with their best friend! Dogs are welcomed, encouraged even, to join in on private events. Dogs must remain on leash while at Black Lab.

Bar:
Our craft beer is seriously something to rave about. From easy going lagers, to tart sours, and bold pale ales, we have embraced any and all creations that can be achieved with our brewmasters vision. Featuring 10 of our craft beers on draught, this will be the focal point of your event’s drink menu, with something to satisfy everyone’s palette.
The bar can be run in a number of ways:
- Cash bar - everyone pays their own way
- Open bar
- Prepaid tokens
- A mix of 2 options (i.e. prepaid tokens then cash bar once tokens have been used up)
ADDITIONAL ALCOHOL For private parties, we are able to legally serve additional alcohol by obtaining a Special Occasions Permit from the AGCO (Alcohol and Gambling Commission of Ontario). Available options through this permit are wines, prosecco, and RTD coolers. No hard spirits or mixed cocktails. Due to liquor laws, Black Lab Brewing must purchase all alcohol.
NON-ALCOHOLIC OPTIONS While we do not produce any 0% beers, we are conscious of visitors who may not drink beer. You can find an assortment of soft drinks, mocktails, and house-made iced tea when coming to Black Lab. Parents are welcome to bring juice boxes for young kids.

Hosting an event at Black Lab is just the start of a fun experience! We are able to offer add-ons to add to the great time you are envisioning here.
GOODIE BAGS Show off your love of Black Lab by handing out Black Lab goodie bags to your guests! Bags can include beer cans, beer glasses, gift cards, or any merch items (human or dog merch). *Subject to availability
CUSTOM BEER LABELS Work with our resident designer on creating your very own unique beer can label to commemorate your special event at Black Lab! We will set you up with our label designer to chat ideas and see progress through to completion.
FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS Set the tone of the party with gorgeous dried or fresh flower arrangements from Thyme Studios, a woman-owner and independent Leslieville company.
CATERING Let us recommend some of Toronto's best food vendors to cater your event! From onsite food stations to food platter drop offs, we know a wide selection of cuisines to accompany your event.
Payment and Cancellation:
We require a 50% or 100% venue rental deposit at the time of booking (you decide). See below for cancellation and refund policies:

FAQ:
ARE YOUR WASHROOMS GENDER NEUTRAL? Yes! All washrooms are gender neutral.
CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN? Yes! Children of all ages welcome. Diaper change station located in our accessible washroom
IS THERE AN ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE? Yes! Located at the rear of our building right off of Sears St. Making it easy for strollers, wheelchairs, and more to come inside and enjoy our brewery.
WHAT KIND OF EVENTS CAN BE HOSTED AT BLACK LAB? Anything from birthday parties to a charity event is possible here. Other occasions such as weddings, corporate outings, and group socials are achievable at Black Lab as well.
CAN WE SOURCE OUR OWN DECOR? We welcome you to get creative within our space. Flowers and table decor are encouraged, while nothing can be attached or affixed to walls or surfaces. A strict no confetti rule is in place as it poses as a potential choking hazards for dogs.
